Engineering Transfer Program
Admissions
Eight colleges around British Columbia offer the same program as the first year engineering program at UBC. Students who successfully complete one of these programs within one full-time year, at one institution, and with a GPA of at least 2.5 are guaranteed admission to second year engineering at UBC.*
Students who are registered in an Engineering Transfer Program but who do not complete their program in one full-time year, at one institution, are not eligible for the admission guarantee as stated above and will be evaluated as transfer applicants.

- College of New Caledonia
- Kwantlen Polytechnic University
- Langara College
- Selkirk College (2 year program)
- Thompson Rivers University
- University of the Fraser Valley
- Vancouver Island University
* If you are attending the two year program at Selkirk College it is acceptable to complete your program over two full-time years.
