Professorships
Make your mark by contributing to or creating a professorship in a research
area of importance to your industry. Your contribution funds a variety
of activities for the professorship holder including, additional salary,
research support and travel support for conferences. Professorships provide
the university with an important tool for attracting outstanding faculty

Research chairs
Make your mark by contributing to or creating a named "chair," which
focuses on a research interest of direct benefit to your company. Choose
to collaborate through an Endowed Chair, which involves a single contribution
that generates sufficient income to appoint a chair-holder; through an
NSERC (Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council) Chair, which
involves annual contributions over a five-year term, with additional contributions
and commitment from UBC and NSERC; or through an Industrial Research
Chair, which exists for the duration of industry support. For more information,

Research laboratories and centres
Participate in collaborative research by establishing a laboratory or
research centre at UBC, either on your own or with the support of others.
This is an excellent and cost-effective way to expand your company’s
own research and development efforts through collaboration with other industries
