Interdisciplinary collaborations are often key to success. UBC Engineering has close ties with both the University Industry Liaison Office (UILO), which has an international reputation for guiding UBC discoveries to the marketplace through patenting, licensing and company creation, and the Sauder School of Business, which is ranked among the top five percent of global business schools.
