Centre for Professional Skills Development

enabling engineering students

Our mission is to enable engineering students to complement their design, analytical modelling and decision-making skills with a broader set of professional competencies. These competencies include an ability to function on multidisciplinary teams, an understanding of professional and ethical responsibility, an ability to communicate effectively, and an understanding of the impact of engineering solutions in a global and societal context.

Our goals are to research, develop and deliver curricular and co-curricular programming and to create a supportive environment that will enhance students’ educational experience and promote their intellectual growth and success.
