Upcoming Events for Prospective Undergraduage Students

Women in Engineering/Westcoast Women in Engineering, Science & Technology Conference
Thursday, April 26, 2012 8:30 am – 3:00 pm

At the Women in Engineering/Westcoast Women in Engineering, Science & Technology Conference, you will be given the opportunity to meet like-minded female prospective students and current students. You will be welcomed by Dr. Elizabeth Croft, the NSERC Chair for Women in Science and Engineering and Professor of Mechanical Engineering, and then while enjoying a delicious lunch, you can listen to current UBC Engineering female students who will share their experiences and ideas about the extensive options within engineering and why engineering could be a great career choice for you.  Throughout the day, you will have an opportunity to participate in a design challenge, as well as visit some of our labs.

Please contact Bhavani Veylan if you are interested in attending this event. We have closed our online registration, but you can still register by sending an email to bhavani.veylan@ubc.ca, before 4pm on April 25th.

Kaiser 2020/2030, 2332 Main Mall, Vancouver
For building location, visit www.maps.ubc.ca.

This is a great chance to network and connect with other female high school students who are considering engineering as well.
